Schumer: Voters wanted change

Senior U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer made his rounds upstate today, including stops in Syracuse and Albany.

In the Capital Region, the day before Veterans Day, Schumer pushed a bill that would create annual health screenings for service members to better identify those who may be at risk to harming themselves.

Afterward, he took off-topic questions, including his reaction to the significant defeat Democrats had on Election Day as the GOP took over control of his chamber.   He cited the decline of middle class incomes as a reason why his party went down at the polls.
