Real estate mogul Donald Trump, who flirted with the idea of running for governor this winter, spoke to a group of around a thousand  at a rally just across the way from the State Capitol.

Introduced by 2010 GOP nominee for governor Carl Paladino, the star of NBC's "The Apprentice" spoke for just under six minutes where he assured the crowd he was against Governor Cuomo's NY Safe Act.  Trump said he was "a big Second Amendment person" and called the law "quickly drawn."  He also revealed to the surprise of some that he has a pistol permit in Manhattan and says if he ever has a problem he'll "at least have a good shot at it."
