On this week's edition of New York NOW, Gov. Andrew Cuomo says New York may be slowly approaching an end to the COVID-19 pandemic, but when we get there is anyone's guess.

The state Legislature, meanwhile, has almost two months left of this year's legislative session. Will they come back to Albany again this year, and was last week's budget deal everything lawmakers wanted? Senate Deputy Majority Leader Mike Gianaris, D-Queens, joins us with more.

The state budget included some new changes to New York's laws on cash bail. We'll break down the changes and have reaction from Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler, the president of the District Attorneys Association of the State of New York.

And Josefa Velasquez from the nonprofit news organization THE CITY breaks down the news of the week, including the latest on COVID-19.

Note: Information on COVID-19 is rapidly evolving. Check our blog posts for the latest information after watching the show.
