Vice President Joe Biden was in Albany Tuesday to support Governor Andrew Cuomo's series of what he's calling "innovative protections" to the state's infrastructure after a series of damaging storms both upstate and down.
The Vice President, the governor and legislative leaders sat at the head table while the governor went through a power point presentation on his plan to help the state better handle disastrous storms, like Superstorm Sandy in 2012 and Tropical Storms Irene and Lee in 2011. Biden, a fellow Democrat and possible 2016 Presidential rival, was very complimentary of Cuomo's plans saying he was not just leading New York but "leading the country" in his direct approach to improve the state's infrastructure.
