With the shocking arrest of former Speaker Sheldon Silver still lingering inside the Capitol, several lawmakers along with Governor Cuomo are calling for a series of new ethics reforms.

Andrea Stewart-Cousins, the Senate Minority Leader, presented a list Monday along with her caucus.  The bills proposed would cap legislators' outside income, end the LLC loophole, bar elected officials from using campaign funds for criminal defense or personal use and eliminate taxpayer-funded reimbursement of legal fees.
