Governor Cuomo made the unprecedented move of combining the State of the State and Budget Address into one presentation, a move necessitated by the January 1 passing of his father Mario. The governor released his proposals today in Albany, a broadcast that was anchored on NYS PBS/NPR stations by New York NOW's Matt Ryan and Casey Seiler.
There is always a response given by the opposite party and this year the GOP made the surprise move of selecting freshman Senator Rich Funke. The longtime WHEC-TV anchor in Rochester is no stranger to the camera and his seven minute response can be seen here.
