Email share

On Tuesday Governor Andrew Cuomo continued his summer tour through upstate, this time touting the burgeoning wine industry in the Finger Lakes. Traveling Route 14 along the picturesque west side of Seneca Lake, the governor stopped at three different wineries before announcing the winner of the Governor's Cup at a ceremony in Watkins Glen later that evening.

After the event, Cuomo talked one-on-one with New York NOW about why he's continuing the upstate tourism push this summer and why despite the demand, even from some of the very people he spoke with today, he does not support the sale of wine in state groceries stores. Watch the full video above.
