NYN 2013 statewide voting guide

Over the last seven weeks we have profiled four of the six proposals that will be on this year's statewide ballot. Here is your chance to watch them again (or for the first time!).

First off, Proposal 1 would allow up to seven casinos to be built across the state.  Watch Casey Seiler's report below.

Proposal 4 would clear up a century-old clouded title debate between the state and land owners around Raquette Lake.  Matt Ryan's report on this story was in our Adirondack program in October.

Proposal 5 is another issue involving land in the Adirondacks.   This one would allow NYCO minerals to expand their mining operation an additional 200 acres into the forest preserve and in turn, the company would give the state 1,500 acres of nearby land.   This issue has drawn a lot of eyes in the last month, as it has been our most watched video during election season.

And finally, Proposal 6 would raise the retirement age for some judges in the state.  Rick Karlin of The Times Union sat down with Chief Judge Jonathan Lippman to discuss this issue.

Here's more information on Proposal 2 and Proposal 3
