Earlier this week Byron Brown, the Buffalo Mayor and head of the New York State Democratic Party, wrote a letter to the leaders of the splintered Democratic conferences in the Senate urging them to reunify.  Included in the letter were suggestions on how to come together so both the mainline Democrats and the members of the Independent Democratic Conference could share power.

This week a veteran member of the mainline conference, SenatorLiz Krueger, joins us to discuss the possibility of just such a merger and the potential legislative ramifications.

Also, Jimmy Vielkind of Politico New York and Karen DeWitt of New York Public Radio join the Reporters Roundtable.
