Assemblyman Brian Kolb is the first member of the two major political parties to throw his hat into the 2018 race for governor. His chamber's minority leader, the Finger Lakes representative enters what is expected to be a crowded field of Republicans trying to defeat Andrew Cuomo next year.
Kolb joins us this week in-studio to discuss why he decided to take up the challenge, the issues he thinks will hurt the governor in the fall, and his chances for success despite low name-recognition and a decided disadvantage when it comes to campaign funds.
We hope you can join us this weekend on your local PBS station.
