The New York Primary race is heating up as candidates from both parties are crisscrossing the state in hopes of securing the all-important delegates up for grab on April 19th.

Hillary Clinton made a stop just north of Albany on Monday and Thursday Republican Ted Cruz spoke to a crowd of around 1,300 people at Mekeel Christian Academy in nearby Schenectady County.  The U.S. Senator from Texas focused on the issues of religious freedom and national defense, among others.  Feeling the momentum off of his recent Wisconsin Primary victory he positioned himself as the best choice for the GOP against Clinton, the candidate he presumed would be the Democratic winner.

We'll have coverage of both upstate stops this weekend on our program.
