Barron calls Cuomo's presentation 'fluff'

Email share

Longtime Andrew Cuomo antagonizer Charles Barron was not a fan of the governor's State of the State/Budget Address.

The former New York City Councilman and new state assembly member called his speech "fluff" and called the amount allocated toward fighting poverty in the Bronx a "disgrace."   He was also critical of the governor's decision not to include the court-mandated funds owed from the Campaign for Fiscal Equity lawsuit.

It should come as no surprise that despite the fact that he's a fellow Democrat, Barron will continue to be a thorn in the governor's side this legislative session.
