What was supposed to be a run-of-the-mill press conference in support of an Airbnb bill turned chaotic for actor Danny Glover.
The "Lethal Weapon" star and progressive activist came to the Capitol to support a piece of legislation that would modernize existing laws making easier for residents to share their homes for extra income. Glover, an advisor for Airbnb, was set to speak alongside legislators until a man started criticizing him for supporting the organization saying it was hurting hard-working families in the hotel industry. Around a dozen or so members of the Hotel Trades Council had joined the gathering unbeknownst to organizers. Check out the video below.
We talked to Glover afterward who said he didn't hold any hard feelings over the incident.
