Governor Andrew Cuomo agreed to a rare sit-down television interview for the upcoming WMHT film on his father titled "Governor Mario Cuomo: Poetry and Prose."

The film will premiere in the Capital Region on Monday, October 3rd at 9pm and follows the late governor from his 1982 run for chief executive until his final political campaign in 1994 versus George Pataki.  In the film, his son reveals details about Mario's upset win over New York City Mayor Ed Koch in 'the 82 Democratic primary, his battles with the press on and off the court, why he never ran for president and his final public appearance with Mario on the night of his reelection in 2014.
