One of the ballot measures you will be voting on when you head to the polls on November 4th is a subject this week on the program. In his annual State of the State, Governor Andrew Cuomo introduced the idea of "The Smart Schools Bond Act of 2014." It is a $2 billion investment that would allow schools to purchase high tech devices for the classrooms like computers, tablets and advanced security features.
Not everyone thinks it's a smart investment, including E.J. McMahon of The Empire Center. He is our guest this week where he'll discuss why he thinks voters should reject the proposal. Click here to watch the full interview (begins at 15:49).
