A bill to legalize the controversial sport of Mixed Martial Arts has passed the state senate each of the last four years. In the Assembly chamber, however, it's never been brought to the floor for a vote. That could change this year. Momentum seems to be in the sport's favor. Governor Cuomo has signaled he might be ok with its passage and most importantly for MMA advocates Rochester Assemblyman Joe Morelle, the sponsor in his chamber, is now second in command.
