Email share

The national debtcurrently stands at over $21 trillion and is rising, yet you are unlikely to hear much about it on the campaign trail this fall.  Two former members of Congress are trying to change the conversation.

This week Chris Gibson (R-Hudson Valley) and Jim Slattery (D-Kansas) join us in-studio to draw attention to the ongoing deficits and dysfunction in Washington.

Also, this week Karen DeWitt of New York State Public Radio and Ken Lovett of the Daily News analyze the week's news out of Albany.
