This weekend John Evers of the Capital Region gives us a history lesson on the Moreland Act, a law which gives the governor power to investigate any state department, board or commission. Andrew Cuomo is doing just that now as he tries to root out corruption in the legislature.

A little known fact, though, is that Mr. Evers is a part of history as well. His Great Uncle Johnny is a Baseball Hall of Famer and is included in a well known poem from the early 20th Century. Check out the clip above and watch the full interview below.
