Will Democrats believe in Eve?

Email share

Leecia Eve says she is the most experienced of the four Democrats running for attorney general, but will her message reach primary voters?

The Buffalo native was trailing badly in the one poll on this race in early August. The Siena College results showed her with just four percent of the vote, well behind Tish James, Zephyr Teachout, and Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney. She has picked up some steam in the past two weeks, though, nabbing endorsements from the Queens Tribune and Times Union

This week she sits down with us to discuss her experience, her jobs working for the likes of Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, and Andrew Cuomo and finally, why "scholarly work" (a criticism of fellow candidate Zephyr Teachout) doesn't equate to her time in the courtroom.

Still undecided on who you will vote for in this four-way Democratic Primary?  Watch our interviews with Eve's opponents Sean Patrick Maloney, Tish James, and Zephyr Teachout.

We'll see you this weekend on your local PBS station.
