The Rockefeller Institute and the Government Law Center at Albany Law School will be holding a forum June 16th entitled "Budgets and the Balance of Power: The Lasting Impact of Silver v. Pataki and How It Shapes the Future of Government in New York State."

In modern state political history, there's no legal bout more important than this case, a 2004 ruling by the state Court of Appeals that over the next decade would change the way New York's fiscal plan comes together.  This week, we preview the symposium with Bob Bullock of the Rockefeller Institute and former Westchester Assemblyman Richard Brodsky.

We have a sneak preview above and you can watch the entire episode here.
