The Nelson A. Rockefeller Institute of Government held two public policy forums called "The Municipal Fiscal Crisis: What It Is and What We Can Do To Combat It." One of the featured speakers was former Lieutenant Governor Richard Ravitch, who knows a thing or two about tackling fiscal problems from his days working in New York City during the 1970's financial crisis there.
