Paladino leads pro-gun rally outside Capitol

Gun enthusiasts once again took to West Capitol Park to rally against the NY Safe Act, passed by the legislature in January.  The set of stricter gun control laws has galvanized New Yorkers, mainly from upstate.   Assemblywoman Claudia Tenney, a Republican who represents the Remington Arms plan in the Mohawk Valley, told the story of how she was asked to take off a hat with the name of the plant before speaking with Govvernor Cuomo.

Also returning to Albany was Carl Paladino, the 2010 Republican gubernatorial candidate defeated by Cuomo.   Paladino blames GOP Conference Leader Dean Skelos for bringing the bill to the floor and his fellow Long Island senators whose 'yes' votes helped it become law.
