New York confronts heroin epidemic

Both houses of state government have introduced a series of bills to deal with the growing problems associated with the drug heroin. With less than a month left in the legislative session, advocates are hoping a deal can be reached before lawmakers go home for the calendar year.

This week our Casey Seiler talks with the mother of a teenage victim and looks at the two different pieces of legislation from both parties as the state tries to curtail the impact of this addictive drug. Watch the complete story above.
