Former U.S. Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell (D-Maine) spoke to aspiring litigators at the Albany Law School this month where he discussed his time on Capitol Hill and his role serving the country as special envoy overseas.  His new book "The Negotiator: A Memoir" hit bookshelves in May.

We sat down with him for an interview where he discussed his years trying to broker peace in Northern Ireland and also where the current political climate ranks in our nation's history.
