As Governor Andrew Cuomo begins the push for his controversial Women's Equality Act, he received some help today from actress Cynthia Nixon. One of the stars of the hit HBO series 'Sex in the City,' Nixon is no stranger to the Capitol. She's lobbied in the past for educational issues and famously for marriage equality in 2011.
