Email share

This coming Monday's Iowa Caucus marks the official start of the presidential sweepstakes. Hillary Clinton is once again the front-runner, like she was in 2008 before losing the Democratic nomination to Illinois Senator Barack Obama.

We'll dig deep into our archives and look back at her first run for public office back in 2000 when she she eventually defeated Rick Lazio to become the first woman to represent New York in the Senate. We'll review the launch of her "listening tour" at Daniel Patrick Moynihan's farm, her campaign stops and show an exclusive interview public television had with her in the summer of 2000.
