This week the Alabama Republican Party approved a resolution calling for Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar to be expelled form Congress. This brings to mind a story from 1920 when the New York State Assembly kicked out five members from the Socialist Party.

This week we interview the new president of the New York State Bar Association Hank Greenberg and in this exclusive online clip, he discusses the response from former Governor Charles Evan Hughes. One of the most respected New Yorkers at the time and a future Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, he condemed the move by the legislature.
