Hidden for a decade, mural revealed

New York NOW reveals a controversial painting that has been concealed inside the State Education Building for over a decade. Originally commissioned after the Civil War, this 18' x 30' mural, titled 'Centennial of America,' is a magnificent piece of work by French artist Adolphe Yvon.  So why has it been covered up for all of these years?
