Grand Central turns 100

Grand Central Terminal - better known as Grand Central Station - celebrates its centennial in 2013. The architectural splendor transformed Midtown Manhattan and gave people a reason to go to the east side of the island, which was not as developed back in the early 20th century.

We take a look back at the history of Grand Central, both the highs and lows, with two authors who have written new books on the structure, New York Times Reporter Sam Roberts and Tony Robins.
