New York NOW has reached new heights....literally!

This program is brought to you from atop Sleeping Beauty Mountain in the Adirondack Park.  What better way to tell the story of the Wilderness Act and its connection to the North Country than by talking to DEC Commissioner Joe Martens, who joined us on the hike up.  Also, we introduce you to Brother Yusuf Burgess, a Vietnam veteran who used the 'Great Outdoors' to fight back against his PTSD symptoms and now takes  inner-city kids away from the 'bodegas and basketball courts' and brings them closer to Mother Nature.

Update - We are saddened to report the passing of Brother Yusuf.  He died in December of 2014.  His legacy will live on for decades through the young men and women he took to the Great Outdoors.

Watch the program above.
