A discussion on North Country politics and environmental concerns

Last Updated by Matt Ryan on

With fall foliage blazing across most of the Adirondacks, a lot of people will be heading north hiking in and around the lovely High Peaks areas.  The beauty inside the Blue Line, however, has become problematic.  It's led to severe overcrowding, bumper-to-bumper parking for miles and a potentially dangerous situation for folks traveling along the main corridors.

It's one of the many issues we'll discuss with longtime Mountain Lake PBS journalist Thom Hallock. We'll also analyze why environmental groups are criticizing President Donald Trump's administration, the big election just north of the border next week and Congresswoman Elise Stefanik's shift more to the right in 2019.

This is Matt Ryan's final episode before he moves on to another opportunity in Albany.  He'll be joined by his longtime collaborators Casey Seiler and Karen DeWitt.
