Education Commissioner King on Teacher Evaluation Plan

This past spring, Governor Cuomo and state legislators passed a new teacher evaluation plan that will be available to parents, but not the general public.  To date, though, only 214 of New York’s 728 districts have approved the plan.  Districts have until January 2013 to implement the plan before there are ramifications.   

We sat down with State Education Commissioner John King to talk about what the ultimate goal is for all parties involved regarding these new evaluation standards.  Watch the full interview here.
