Using Wastewater to Grow Economic Development

Posted by Matt Ryan on

Our latest  Innovation Trail report from our new reporter Jenna Flanagan comes from a small village in the Catskills that is restricted on how much wastewater they can reuse due to their proximity to the New York City watershed.  We take a look at a new plan is trying to change that.

Also, Matt Ryan convenes the Reporters Roundtable with Rick Karlin of the Times Union, Karen DeWitt of New York State Public Radio and Jon Campbell from Gannett News to discuss the latest headlines including the hotly contested comptroller race in New York City.

Finally, Casey Seiler has the controversial story of the Wandering Dago, a food cart from Schenectady that is suing the state after it was kicked off property outside the Capitol and at the Saratoga Race Track.
