Struggling Niagara Falls seeks resurgence

More than eight million people visit the Niagara Falls State Park every year. That impressive total makes it the most visited state park in the country. This alone would naturally lead one to believe that downtown Niagara Falls must be thriving, but a quick drive past the park indicates that this is not the case (on the American side of the falls, that is). Once one travels past the novelty shops and Seneca Niagara Casino, vacant stores and empty streets abound in most directions. 'New York NOW' takes a tour of the area and explores what local officials are doing to try to revitalize one of the country's most beloved destinations. Watch video below.
